QLAN-USB Adapter - working prototype...
Re: QLAN-USB Adapter - working prototype...
Ohhh market competition that should drive down prices nicely...
Now I need a magazine to get reviews of the two options to decide which one to buy...

Re: QLAN-USB Adapter - working prototype...
Hi everyone
Just a minor progress update (and to let you know that I'm still working on this project!)
I have been investigating the optimum approach to working with the SERial driver in QPC so as to minimise any avoidable additional latency when reading messages from the microcontroller. Thanks to MK for diving in to 15-year old source code and helping me understand it better!
Getting there, slowly, but surely...

We want it, we need it

Hi!
Was wondering when someone would ask Encouraging to see your post!
'Slowly' in answer... Having written a proof-of-concept in SB for the QL-side (the micro-controller side is already working well), I've been struggling to re-code the SB in MC.
But the project is still very much alive - between other projects and, you know, family life, etc...
Be assured that I'll be posting back here with further news, once I've got more concrete results to share.
Thanks again!

Re: QLAN-USB Adapter - working prototype...
Thank you Martin for your REMarkable initiative!
We'll stay tuned
We'll stay tuned
Re: QLAN-USB Adapter - working prototype...
We are all waiting patiently for this to progress, silence is not always an indicator that people are not listening intently... I recently bought a few STM103 boards to play with (trying NUTTX RTOS for example) which look like they may support your design once the sw is in a state to release.

Thanks for the feedback - I'll re-focus on the QLUB code

Martyn,
This project sounds great. I cannot wait for it to be finished.
Well done.

You woke me for THAT!!!
