That would be my next step. I can't really imagine an easy scenario where Minerva would collide with an expansion card

Re: MicroP Controller with Minerva Issue
You are aware that you have no proof the problem is actually Minerva (which I find possible, but unlikely)? You have proof the Interface doesn't work in that specific QL (which happens to have Minerva). Actually, that would be the first of such boards that wouldn't work with Minerva. (To answer your...

Re: MicroP Controller with Minerva Issue
Are there any known issues with using the MicroP floppy controller (Micro P QL FDC v5.1) with Minerva please? Which firmware has the MicroP controller, the original (with FDK device rather than FLP) or the replacement QJump? And if it does still have the original software the next (serious) questio...

Re: Faulty (video) ram
There's no RAM at $10000 at all on the QL (it actually starts at $20000 with the first video page), so what you see must be wrong.

Re: QIMSi Gold
Just a comment about the HDMI connector - isn't there a licensing issue with the HDMI connectors - I know that HDMI are unlikely to find out about the QIMSi, but worth being aware that they normally ask for a license fee to be paid to use their connector (it can be waived in some circumstances). HD...

Re: Magnetic Scrolls Interpreter - Christmas Edition
There's a new release on Github that should re-enable interlaced (32 color) graphics mode and add some other minor enhancements. For GD2 users, everything is as it was, so no reason to upgrade.

Re: Connect the Sinclair QL to a serial printer
And as you apparently have the handshake lines connected, you should probably also use them (i.e. leave out the "i" from the device name).
I'd try

Code: Select all

Re: Connect the Sinclair QL to a serial printer
600 Baud is very unlikely.
Apple. ImageWriters default to 9600 Baud if I remember that correctly. So, you should probably try this.

Looking for Extended MODE4 emulator for Atari Mega ST
Title says it all. I'm searching for a (working) extended Mode4 Emulator for an Atari Mega ST. I know those are as rare as hens' teeth, but maybe someone has one laying around they no longer need. Back in the 1990s, that was my setup that I would really like to re-create after having stupidly sold t...

Re: CST Ram Plus eproms - CST QDisc v4 issue
The QL memory map reserves (interestingly, much like the IBM PC) address space above $C0000 for I/O cards with 16k per slot. How this address space is used by the card (registers, ROM,...) is up to the card. QDOS will, on startup, scan the ROM port address ($C000) and the base addresses of each of t...
