Nice game, Andrew ;)
Works on QPC2 with QPC_QLSCEMU 8. (I normally run QPC2 at 960x540 in full screen on an HDMI monitor). No luck with SMSQmulator so far, though.

Very nice game. Tested in QemuLator and BBQL with Minerva, SMSQ/E and Tetroid SuperGoldCard. WOrks fine in all configurations.

I just tried with SMSQmulator 2.31 and all I got was a blank green screen.
I unzip the flp version into ram1_ then called the program:
exec_w ram1_qstar_exe;"ram1_"
if I run with with EXEC instead of EXEC_W, I can switch back to QDOS and check that the program is running. I can even kill the program job.

Hi,

I tried the game on a Q68, in DISP_MODE 1 : 512x256 - Mode 4/8 Colours, all works great.

I had to slow the Q68 down with a SLUG 50 cmmand.

Hi Derek - you can also slow down the animation using F1 command, while in game.
As you have a Q68 - please check if, while in game, the title (QSTAR) is aligned with the background .
It seems that there is a SMSQ/E bug in defining the colour

I am running Q68 FPGA v1.05, SMSQ/E v3.39 in DISP_MODE 1: 512x256 Mode 4/8

I see that on Q68 the title is perfectly aligned and the top left pixel is green, not cyan as it is in QDOS. So this is a SMSQ/E issue.

Yes, I know that the game does not work in Hi Colour modes (except on QPC with QPC_QLSCREMU). The game assumes the screen base is at $20000 and sprites were created for Mode 8 .
I wish we had QLSCREMU command in SMSQ/E also

There is some typo in the spanish intro:
Line 3 "mental a"
Also check spaces, to much before "movimiento" I suggest "dia- mantes" in line 4.
"todos los" in first blue line.
"Heroe o Bloqueador" in last line.

First versión hang on level 3, but I was playing lastest and everything ok.
FTEST, FOP_IN, FOP_OVER and ALCHP are all commands in Toolkit II

You need to add the command:

TK2_EXT

to the boot file, as the Trump Card does not automatically install Toolkit II.

Funny nobody seems to have noticed this before.
The stippled border around the basic channels starts of white on QDOS & Minerva.
It starts with a black pixel on SMSQ (v2.91), tested on Aurora & BBQL.
So main & contrast colour are probably swapped with any stipple on SMSQ.
