Dear forum members,
I am developing an operating system for PCs and 68xxx based micros as Sinclair QL, Atari ST, Amiga 500 and Macs.
In this concept a programming language, editor, assembler, interpreter, compiler and various apps are completed for PCs 32bit windows as 95, 98, millennium, XP etc.
These also work but in different stages to the above micros. Especially for QL with the interpreter and compiler in a PC is used to develop applications to be run in the QL, i.e. are compiled in 68xxx code.
Also a QL manager app is developed and running in a PC in order to read, write and transfer QL floppy disks from QL to PC an vise versa. So we can use a PC in order to keep the precious QL hardware safe for many more years.
Gradually the QL manager, interpreter and compiler will be presented here.
Thanks to admins for accepting my request for this very good forum.
Best Regards,
ansar

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
You could look at the SMSQ/E sources which already have device drivers to access other disk formats written in 68000 assembly language.
