Sorry for butting into your message, but the PM is still in your Outbox because the recipient has not read it. Once the recipient has read the PM, the Forum software moves the PM to the Sent folder.

The Forum software should send an email notice of a PM has been sent.

But the QL Forum does not do this, or the email notice is not being sent.

I have asked the Admin people to fix this, but no action is taken, only some vague readon that the server is blocking the email. Which I difficult to understand that this can not be fixed.

This is the only Forum that does not supply a email notification of received PM.

Normally though the icon above the envelope in the user area is highlighted when you have a message, so visiting the forum should show it - which is why I wondered whether the messages were actually stuck in transit, so to speak.
Mind you, I've missed that UI notification hint myself a few times.
