ZX Spectrum IF1 serial terminal program.

Hi everyone,
I would like to connect my ZX Spectrum to a serial wifi modem. I have read online that there are serial terminal programs for the IF1 on world of spectrum, but have not found any.
If anyone has tried this, could you suggest software for the ZX Spectrum that would allow it to act as a VT100 type terminal, using the IF1 serial port?
I did find snapCterm to download and I have tried it, but it seems to just crash after a few seconds - I'm not sure why (I do have other things plugged into the IF, so not sure if that would affect things).
Any comments would be appreciated.
