Wouldn't the 32 bit version run on both?

It will, but Windows is the last major OS that has not dropped 32bit completely, so the 64bit support comes free from other OS support so might as well build!

I just meant to reduce number of Windoze targets, as 64 bit brings no advantage for sQLux.

Under Windoze, things like my good old EPROM burner, the FPGA design package for Q68, the PLD package for Q40/Q60 etc. all do not work with 64 bit OS, so I will stick with 32 bit as long as possible. Also I have an eeePC which is still nice with 32 bit OS, etc.

(BTW Debian Linux still supports 32 bit also. Makes applications leaner and faster. I personally never use > 4 GB RAM.)
