Just for my own enjoyment I have been tring qlay as an alternative to qlayw. I have it working but am puzzled by the m (memory) and d (display) options. Choosing m 4 (or m anything) shows RAMTOP=4064 on startup but PRINT FREE_MEM shows it onlyhas a total of 640K. This in on a PC with loads of RAM running in DOSBOX set to have 16MB at its disposal. Similar with D something. Anything up to 4 gives the same small display (mode 2 in qlayw), 5 or 6 gives mode 4 (just too big for my screen). I would prefer mode 3 but d 3 just gives mode 2. Anyone any ideas?

Found the problem so thought I would share in case anyone ever does the same. I had correctly set the first ROM to c0000 but set the second incorrectly to c00000 rather than 100000. That puts it in the 700K area which must confuse the emulator. All working now.
