Very Sad News

Post by Mr_Navigator »

*****************************************************************************************************************

We have just been advised me of the death of John Mason, who was the QUANTA Chairman for a number of years before Sarah Gilpin took the role.

This sad information was notified to us by John's Son-in-law Michael Taylor by email to our "Contact us" facility on our Web Site.

I did not know him personally but Dave recently stated "He was a really great guy that I had the pleasure to meet once, many years ago. Very helpful and informative"

That is sad news indeed - yet another reminder that none of us QL'ers are getting younger.

Unfortunately, this thread is a little longer with yet another passing, John Gilpin has stated that "it is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of Bryan Horstmann at the end of November 2014.

Bryan had been a QLer for many years and was a member of the North East Manchester QL Users Group (NEMQLUG).

He will be greatly missed."
