You are right Peter (of course).
In any case, since the VHDL compiled code is public (available) & free to use... for me that is fine if he want to keep it closed.
Just I want a small board and let it for community to use freely.

but the gerber files and CPLD file is freely available for download, I am going make some new 8301 boards for the QL boards I have been repairing, so I download the files and get the PCB made and programme the CPLD.
