I know some of us have a blog on Wordpress.com, so this might be of interest. Also, if you have a Tumblr account too.

It appears that these two sites will be selling your data, images, documents and such like to train AI tools. Whatever happened to copyright eh?
EDIT Changed the URL to one that doesn't require an account just to read it. My mistake, I posted the wrong link.
Cheers,
Norm.

Even that link asks you to create a free account to read more than a paragraph or two of the article.

Hmm. I'm mainly a bit surprised they manage to sell something which is openly accessible AI trainers could just as well scrape your WP blog without even asking (And, I guess, they do).NormanDunbar wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 10:31 am I know some of us have a blog on Wordpress.com, so this might be of interest. That definitely is a problem with AIs: Once you've used (whatever) data to train it, nobody will be able to prove what the AI actually learned from your data (ChatGPT will never say "I learned that from Norman's blog" - I guess it wouldn't even remember what bit of information it originally took from where), so anything copyright-related is actually impossible to proof - at least that is what I assume with my meager knowledge of how AI works - anyways. (So, ChatGPT could just as well steal your knowledge and go unharmed)
