Hi All,

Sorry for hogging the thread Norm...

But I think Bwinkel67s problem is solved now.

On LINE 420, insert : ik=rnd(3): before INK etc : which will keep the value in range under QDOS !

I have tested this under QDOS, and it is OK.

Regards,

Steve.

That did the trick. It also now runs on the JS ROM's although it still corrupts the BASIC but I guess not the parts that it needs to plot the fireworks. It's weird because after I stop it and list the program it has corruption all over the place but it will run without crashing until then. If I try to re-run it then it complains. Maybe the program doesn't get corrupted until you break out of it. Just weird behavior. No corruption in Minerva though.

Oh, and the best multiplier for wait for a BBQ is .0001.

Hi Again Bwinkel67,

As tofro indicatd, try splitting line 140 LOCal variables over two lines. This works OK on my SGC under QDOS...

In future I will always do this for backward compatibility.

(On some systems, LOCals are limited to 11 per procedure. Otherwise we can make some global...).

I hope this totally cures the QLAY difficulty. I had tested the program on QPC, Qemulator and SGC_SMSQ/E....

Regards,

Steve.

Thanks all!

Unfortunately I didn't have time to come to the chat. It looks like this year it's going to be a 'serial' birthday party due to Corona measures ;) . Some family members today, some tomorrow...
