I doubt that a 68060 can be connected to the QL, the only option I can think of is the QXL card with a 68040 to 68060 adpater card on or a Q60.
But then you are stuck with an operating system that does not take advantage of the extra features of the more powerful CPU.
Why do you need more power?
I think there is more chance in seeing the mythical Issue 8 board, which maybe a rash statement on my part...

Ooo, sorry to butt in, but what is this adapter card you speak of Derek and can I get one somewhere?Derek_Stewart wrote:the QXL card with a 68040 to 68060 adpater card

Collector of QL related computers, accessories and QL games/software.
Ask me about felt pads - I can cut them to size and they have proved excellent for mdv data recovery.

Re: 68060 UltraGoldCARD
Hi Chr$,
The boys in the Amiga world developed a 2 part PCB to adapt the 68040 CPU to 68060.
I am not certain a 50Mhz 68060 will work on the QXL. But the QXLII has a 50Mhz clock on it. The 68040 divides this to 25Mhz.
The 68060 maybe too fast for the QL Network and the QXL data bus.
The PCB is in 2 parts to the PCB because of the 68060 only uses 3.3v
It was a DIY job, which I have some PCBs to solder up, just not got around to it.
I also have some schematics and Gerber files.
