can some explain how the pm system works because I do not get it

when I pm someone I should get message to my email address but I don't

Hi John,

Look in your Profile/Edit Account settings, where you can update your email address.

PMs don’t always get emailed, just a notification. You shoukd always check your forum inbox by clicking on the mail icon, at the top right :)
