For Sale: QVME Card

Post by Derek_Stewart »

For sale QVME Graphics Card was designed by Edwin Holtmann, to fitted to an Atari Mega STE or Atari TT030, in the VME Bus interface.
QVME interface and support disks
QVME interface and support disks
SMSQ/E support disk supplied, but a more update version of SMSQ/E is available from:
https://www.wlenerz.com/smsqe/

Supports all three serial ports on the Mega STE, with split baudrates and buffering on all three. All support baudrates up to 19,200 and the third one also supports 38,400 and 57,600 baud.

Capable of resolutions up to 1280x900, but programmable at boot up with builtin SMSQ/E commands or config blocks.

QVME just supports the MODE 4 colours

Atari native monochrome driver disk supplied to drive the QVME card, with a fix high screen size under native Atari in two colour mode (b/w). This gave some Atari programs (e.g. Calamus) more ease of use.

Well written Atari programs had no problems with this screen size, as the driver writes a "Cookie" (a kind of system variable in TOS).

Price: £250.00 plus shipping

Can ship worldwide, buyer pays shipping fees and Paypal fees.
