That 2a (grey case) looks quite a bit like a 2b (black case) to me.

The +2A, +2B and +3 were all black cases (and use a different membrane to the +2).
Unfortunately, the grey +2 is more collectible, because it does not suffer with software compatability (and sound) issues on the later black models

And the main reason for difference in cost is +2B is much much more available.
