Does anyone know if this device got off the ground and was actually sold (I don't know if Tony from the then TF Services follows this forum)

From what i can gather it was a 'QL' based system that primarily could be connected to a host Computer and once programmed could be disconnected to run independently. It had 68020 CPU, multipurpose i/o no keyboard, no disk drive storage, no display, 2M RAM, communication was through the serial ports. I got the impression from the description it was a kind of PLC based system design to run independently but using a Minerva ROM and SuperBASIC as its core language although other languages (compiled or otherwise) were possible. It sounded a really exciting project, there maybe further info in later issues, however I haven't read those yet. No pics, so an artist impression is below. :)

I'm looking through the old QL Today's that came on the special DVD and the iBox is mentioned in Vol 3 Issue 3 Sept/Oct 1998 :geek:
