They are quite spectacular - hand painted or is that the egg painting robot I saw once - either way some great skill!

Those are traditional Romanian Easter eggs - and they are hand painted using beeswax paints. It's a traditional craft, and an art, and it it slowly dying nowadays.

My wife and I have a Romanian couple as friends and ex workmates. They are into these as well! They are quite beautiful -- much nicer than the ones we used to "paint" (using clotes dye) when I was a kid.
