“There are four lights!”
Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb
Looking forward to summer in Somerset later in the year
QL, Falcon, Atari 520STFM, Atari 1040STE, more PC's than I care to count and an assortment of 8 bit micros (Sinclair and Acorn)(nearly forgot the Psion's)

Bah, poor viewing conditions mean I never saw it, let alone got any pictures
I also suspect it went much further North of Flat Holm than expected, to get from Filton to Cardiff
So instead, a picture of another bit of history that is in desperate need of funding, that also shows a just visible view of Flat Holm beyond and you may be able to see South Wales in the distance (approx 10 miles away).
Full size picture here
As you can see, the cloud was not helpful

Ah I remember spotting that from Dismaland.
There was a bloke collecting signatures of support for restoring it!

The Pier is Birnbeck Pier, the only Pier to link an island to the mainland. Links: Wikipedia, Friends of the Old Pier Society, National Piers Society.
Our local BBC News got some video of XH558 yesterday, this iPlayer link is valid until 18:15 TODAY for UK viewers only, so be quick! The Vulcan is at 3min 32secs. Did any other TV stations get any video?
