Hi everyone. While I have already received enormous help from many of you on this group, I just realized there is a welcome area!
The ZX Spectrum was a large part of my youth and I have tremendous nostalgia for all things Sinclair. My uncle actually had the Sinclair pocket TV.
I recently acquired a QL and I am thoroughly enjoying learning everything about it.
Here is my setup so far:
(To the right, behind the QL, is my other hobby, a scratch built 3D printer, which printed those shelves for the ikea table and the case for QL-VGA.)

I don’t know anything about the voltmace, other than it came with QL (eBay purchase). It has the standard QL joystick plug (the British one) and appears to be an analog joystick.
I tried it with Psion tennis and it works well.

Re: Hello from Canada!
The ROM cartridge is the ICE icon front end.
I have not tried it yet and won’t be able to use it on this setup as I am using a tetroid card for the floppy and it uses the ROM memory area.

What Tetroid card are you using?
I have most of Tetroid's excellent hardware, the Trump Card with CF interface runs in the ROM port area of the QL Memory, but if you can do without the CF Interface, this can be disabled and the ROM port memory is able for your ICE ROM.

Hi, I am using the Tetroid disc interface card, the one with the CF card.
I like the idea of the CF card as the QL’s hard drive.
I might setup a second QL with miracle gold card and ice rom card.
