Just bought my second QL, the first was given to me 30 years ago and I used it for a while before selling on. I now regret that.

The latest model is on it's way but without a PSU. I can see that this is going to be a big issue so am currently glued to eBay. If anyone can help I'm all ears.

The new machine bolsters my Sinclair collection and makes up for the debacle of the Vega+ crowdfunded.

Greetings and welcome -- better late than never.

Charley Ingley has replacement power supplies, better than the original. You just need to feed it from a "wall wart" producing 12v 3A with a 2.1mm plug --either polarity is fine as it copes. Details on Facebook somewhere (I don't have a facebook account) but also on the link below:

Hi there, I'm new to the forum too - I've got a QL with Minerva ROM + Hermes co-processor + super gold card and twin 3.5 floppies and schon keyboard. In relation to charlie at tindie I recently ordered a QL vdrive from tindie, but they had to refund me as they said they are unable to ship to the UK at the moment due to the brexit debacle - so you may be unlucky unless this has changed, but it was only about 4 weeks ago - would be interested to know if they are shipping again?

Also, is there anyone on here whoi can supply me with some microdrive felt pads? I do still have some working cartridges and do sometimes use them but my homemade felt pads are not really the best. Many thanks.
