Hello there,
My name is Russ and I am returning to the QL scene.
Had a QL some years ago but decided to release it, recently purchased
a setup, including Gold Card, Monitor, Printer etc and a box of software
and books.
I like to collect 8bit machines and have most of the Sinclair computers as
well as an active interest in the Enterprise 64/128.
I am a software enginner by trade and work for an American company
writing software in such things as C, C#, Java, Assembler.
Thanks
Russ

Hi Russ, welcome back to the QL scene - things have probably changed a lot since then.bagpuss22 wrote:Hello there,

I notice you are versed in Java - if you have a look in the Emulation part of this Forum, you'll find messages from a couple of months ago from Zeccie in IIRC the Netherlands, who was looking at the possibilities of writing a Java based QL emulator. At the time he asked if anyone could help him - it might be worth an enquiry as to how he's getting on.
Hope you enjoy using a QL once more, and don't be afraid to ask if you need help with anything while getting back into the QL.
Dilwyn
