Hello from Seville (Spain)
Hello from Seville (Spain)
Hi there!!
It's Bubu, from Spain. I've got Sinclair stuff such as several spectrums, ZX81, a calculator, and some weeks ago a QL!! When I was a kid (I'm 42 now) I had a Spectrum 48 KB and I used to program in assembler. I only saw a QL on the MicroHobby magazie, and I could see that it was a enterprise computer rather than one for playing games (I was only a kid)
Some weeks ago a friend of mine gived me a QL and he told me that it didn't work at all, even some keys missed. The QL has no PSU. I did one and tried it, and he was right, the QL doesn't work. Searching through internet I knew Rich Mellor, who sold me the keys I needed, and adviced me to start a thread in this forum, and so I will
So, thanks a lot, to Rich and all of you!
PD: Sorry for the mistakes in english, as I don't use Google Translator at all

Re: Hello from Seville (Spain)
hhahAHHAhaa!! I wish. I must open a new topic with pics and so
The next step would be try to program some in ASM, as I do with the Spectrum in Z80. I program better in ASM than in BASIC or C

Welcome Bubu!
Good luck with the repairs. We will give as much help as we can to help you
Don't worry about your English, as long as we can work out what you are saying, it does not
matter . And so far, I have not had any trouble with your English

Standby alert
“There are four lights!”
Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb
Looking forward to summer in Somerset later in the year
QL, Falcon, Atari 520STFM, Atari 1040STE, more PC's than I care to count and an assortment of 8 bit micros (Sinclair and Acorn)(nearly forgot the Psion's)
