Post by cybervet »

I am looking for the QL covers, I need 2 extension ones, 1 rom and 1 microdrive one .
If anyone has any spares it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Tassos,
you don't need those covers.

Plug something reasonable in, like a GoldCard and an expansion ROM ;)

Tobias

A little birdie told me there will be a couple of items just like that on SellMyRetro.com in the coming weeks. :)

I have spare ROM and microdrive port covers (you've already purchased one ROM port cover from me) !!

No expansion port covers though - maybe all the plastic QL feet walked off with them and they have built a new community of their own somewhere

I wish I could find a cold card to plug to the open port , if anyone has a spare one in a normal price I wouldn't say no, but until I find one I have to settle for the cover......

The "normal" price seems to be somewhat like 250GBP, unfortunately.

Around a year ago, "normal" used to be like 100GBP. 250 even was a high price for a SuperGoldcard.

Had I known that, I had invested in Miracle hardware a year ago - Maybe I'd be a bit richer now ;)

I just auctioned a Gold Card on sellmyretro.com with a buy it now of £275. Someone bought it outright after just five hours, so obviously I should have charged more.

When I list the next one, I will start with a Buy It Now of $350, and just drop it by $10 each day of the auction until it goes, or accept the highest bid it has if the auction ends.

That'll be listed tomorrow.
