Wow, I wish I had one to sell for that much. However, there is an SD equivalent, QL-SD, that plugs in internally and I think uses the ROM interface. It may not quite do all the things as the ROMDISQ.

The developer shared in March that he had been working on a QL-SD ROM version. You might want to contact him to see where it is in development. Offer him $500 and he might get it done faster :D

Hi,

I have a Romdisq that is not working, I will send it to Tony Firshman for repair and contact you when I have received it back.

I think $500 USD is too much.

I didn't know Tony was still doing repairs?

Only one-off repairs I think...

Yeah, for 500$ you can definitely get one of my prototypes or I solder you another internal one :-D

That's interesting from a QL collector's point of view. Do you want an original, simply as a collector's item to keep, or is it to actually use? They do seem hard to find, I'd like one too if one ever comes my way.

Ask me about felt pads - I can cut them to size and they have proved excellent for mdv data recovery.

Yeah, that was mainly due to the two SD slots and I found it too big for my taste, too. So my new variant can host one SD or two MicroSD. But I'm still tinkering with the design.

Two microSD's might work. All the SD cards I have just seem to be the converters that house the microSD. Maybe post a forum topic to see which is the more desirable. Other than the QL I don't use them as much so I don't know if the industry is going predominately microSD now.
