Hi Jose,

Just wanted to thank you for all your support, I finally managed to get everything working on the qubide and sd adapter.
Thanks for testing it for me, you were correct that the sd adapter I was using was faulty. Returned it and purchased another one from Amazon and it worked perfectly :P !

If anyone is interested I bought this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003 ... ge_o01_s00 (SD CARD (secure digital) to IDE adapter : 40 Pin FEMALE - SINGLE CARD by ADAPTER WORLD)

Have a happy christmas and a great new year all !

Vincent

Regarding the QubIDE vith 512 kB RAM expansion (not pass-through), I have examined the addressing jumpers.

As the QubIDE will be the sole device in the expansion port:
when addressed to 0C000 (ROM port), 10000 or 14000 (I/O space, where the QubIDE can be detected by Minerva ROM), the memory space C0000 onwards remains unused.
Which situation allows to add additional 256 kB of memory C0000-FFFFF, to 896 kB total (640+256, as the Trump Card has).

(Useful e.g. for Pointer Environment applications.)
Can this additional 256 kB RAM be e.g. piggybacked to the QubIDE 512 kB SRAM chip?

Hi Jose,

I am also interested in one after reading about them in the Quanta magazine.

Are there still any available?

Thanks
Mike

Hello José,
are you going to build up a new stock of Qubide and perhaps with a through connector, if so please let us know. Several friends here in Germany would like to buy it asap.
So I declare 1000 % interested
Greetings
Achim
