ACP (archive control panel) on QDOS ramdisks

Post by desin »

hello
while unpacking a zip file to a ramdisk ACP tries to create a subdir on on it
and fails because QDOS does not support subdirs on a ramdisk
has anybody a clever solution for this ?
apart from data_use win1_temp_

Greetings from Switzerland
Markus

Do you use an emulator? SMSQ/E should go with it.

You could use a recent TK2 and RamDisc, then it supports directories, too. I've attached the latest QJump RamDisk for example. Use at least TK2 v2.23 (so MAKE_DIR is available, but ACP should probably work regardless which TK2 you use).
