Star_burst doodle

Post by stevepoole »

Hi Folks,

This morning I had a couple of hours to spare, so I decided to do a star_burst doodle program.

Unzip it and set the PC variable to : 0 for Qdos, 1 for Smsq or 2 for emulators. Then just RUN and after up to a minute it goes into warp drive...

It should be ok (but slow) on a 128ko QL, but will be very fast on a PC.

All the best,
Steve.

Nice programme.
I hope you don't mind but I modified it to get it run on my setup.
I took me almost as long to modify it as it took you to write it and as you can see I tried 6 times before I got it to work.
As it seemed to me that it could be used as an animated background to a game I have started to insert some game code at the appropriate point. Do I have your permission to carry on doing this?

Hi Tiny,

By all means you may adapt the star_burst code as you wish...

Regards,

Steve.
