I have been teading the Digital Precision Digital C SE manual which indicates that the Special Edition, has many changes from the esrlier version of Digital C, quote from SPC manual:
Anyone of the changes involved and is the non-SE Digital C available anywhere.Digitial Precision SPC Manual wrote: DIGITAL C SPECIAL EDITION is an implementation of the Small-C compiler originally published in Dr. Dobbs' Journal. This compiler, which was originally written to run on Z80 and 8080-based systems has been heavily modified to run on the QL or Thor. Included with the compiler proper, which will henceforth be referred to as the Parser to avoid ambiguity, are two other programs specially written for this implementation, a Code Generator/Linker and a Library Generator, as well as some library programs: these two programs are all that we are charging you for. The SPECIAL EDITION is a much-enhanced development from the original DIGITAL C, which is still available from DP.
I only bought the DP Software Pack.
