Smash

Post by bwinkel67 »

I seem to recall using a version of Smash in the early 90's. Was there a version before the 1995 one that can be found on Dilwyn's site (version 0.10)? I also seem to recall it working on an unexpanded QL but trying with 128K of RAM on an emulator or on my QL it doesn't seem to work. It also needs parameter passing (which I also don't recall) though I just found a nifty 1.4K toolkit that does that (QVTK) so if it could barely run in 128K a RAM that toolkit could be workable with that.

It's easy enough to run on a QL emulator (or Q68) and smash files to run on an unexpanded QL but it's driving me a little batty thinking I was able to do that back in the day without any add-ons.

Zero help whatsoever, but I immediately thought of this:
