If it is the open source project (as SMSQ / E) we can work many people
with different roles (developers, beta testers, people who maintain documentation etc ...)
QDT is an important project for the QL that deserves a certain commitment in terms of time.

Heh, I simply stated that "It would be easier to understand what you are saying if you wrote in English" :) Absolutely no offense meant, it was kind of a twisted attempt at a joke.

I agree and this is what I have said to Jim (albeit in English as I don't speak Italian). :D

Hi,

Maybe a good idea would be setup a Git Hub page for ordered development of QL software, which could have a subsection for each software application or game.

One a page have been setup for SuperForth:

https://github.com/gerryjackson/QL-SuperForth

Maybe this is way to go...

That's a good idea. There could be a top level QL repository with games, utilities, whatever beneath that, then a dire tory for each.

I'd happily contribute my old sources, articles etc.

Cheers,
Norm.

Hi,

I will look into the creation of this type of thing.

I guess this should not be much of a problem.

Is there a suggestion of the possible projects:

TCP/IP
Web Browser
Word Processor
SQLite
...

What sort of games...

The item that doesn't work in this "add object" case is LIST_SELECT.
The trick I used, is to choose "add folder" and change that to "object'" in the QDT menu itself.

In Menu_rext v8 Jochen added a time-out value for some menus, among other things, at my request.
For this he uses the unused high Word of the Long Word defining the colour Palette.
If this is the reason for QDT's failure, I don't know but I do know that up to v7.66 QDT behaves normal. v7.66 is the last official version 7 and does support High Colour which v7.02 does not.
Jochen has been notified of this anomaly but I have not seen a reaction yet.
