Updated in 2019, the most relevant changes of the RELOADED edition are (details see Introduction (PDF) or history (TXT):
- Updated \qle\ folder to be 100% equal to latest official release of QL/E - THE QL ENVIRONMENT! (v3.19).
- Updated \emu\ with most recent versions of QPC2, QemuLator, SMSQmulator and SMSQ/E.
- Removed \djw\ and \srv\ folders. The great Dilwyn Jones QL Repository and the QL Service Manual are available as online web-pages.

3rd Advent today, brings 3rd (re-)release of either THE DISTRIBUTION or QL/E this winter!

Today sees the release of THE DISTRIBUTION RELOADED! 2019 (latest v3.05) Raspberry Pi (RP) edition.

I'm grateful that you're still there Urs.

In a recent purchase was included a Thor-Desk 3.5" disk from you (Cowo). It's dated 1989. That's 30 years ago and you're still here! Hut ab.

(by the way, it has the address on it of the original owners - a Mr and Mrs Courage from Neuss).

Increasingly I have limited my encouragement to those who themselves are inclined to reciprocate. This saves me a little trouble.

Yes ! feedback can be very low indeed....
Hundreds of people did read the SHRINK_TSP posting, but not one replied...
I put this down to the program filling a very narrow niche, which is understandable.
Our projects have to touch a wide audience, but even there, free animated QL demo programs have received no feedback either...
That does not mean to say nobody downloads them...
It's like opinion polls... very few people bother to reply !
(Many people consider that there opinion is mundane).
A little enthusiasm would indeed encourage developers...

Hi,

Download the file: THE_DISTRIBUTION_SD.ZIP

and extract to a suitable folder, read the help file: THE_DISTRIBUTION/README..TXT

the image file: QL-SDHC/SDHC_4GB_QL_THE_DISTRIBUTION.img

can be written to an SDHC card of 4Gb or more, using Win32DiskImager or SD Card Association software.

The image file can be mounted as an imag drive in the files system, see on my Linux Laptop, using Ubuntu Mate caja file manager: Where I suppose individual files could extracted to reduce the the SD Card capcity size.

Oh, yes, Thor-Desk! It was developed to become the pack-in desktop system for the ill-fated CST Thor XVI. Fortunately I did keep the rights, so was able to market it as a QL product (renamed to QTop) after it became clear that CST was gonna fail. Later on, in 1998, I declared it freeware. Nowadays QTop is part of QL/E.
