Yes, with 95% certainty due to those vents at the right front area. I'll save the ebay pics and add them to the wiki once it's working again properly.

Ask me about felt pads - I can cut them to size and they have proved excellent for mdv data recovery.

Saw this on eBay...I see the 68008, the MC1377 encoder, and maybe the power regulator ic...what are the others or is this seller just jumbling together a bunch of unrelated components.

He lists an 8049 and a GAL but I don't recognise most of those as being QL related, or even QL expansion related.

And god only knows what code is in that 8049 - probably not QL IPC code for sure ! I am guessing you have to design your own ULA's from the programmable logic chips - the GAL to replace the HAL, and you get a 68901 for your trouble - that's actually a nice ic - but not easy to work into the QL's system - although SMSQ/E has some support for this chip. And a dual port RAM chip too - but that looks like it's lived in a bag of surplus components for a long time ;-)

I contacted the seller about 2 month ago and asked him if he can also provide a schematics.
Well, surprise, he cannot. His reply was something like this "A very knowledgeable expert created the kits and he is just selling them" Go figure :D
