Anyone Know this Hardware
Re: Anyone Know this Hardware
I just pulled my QL stuff out of storage this weekend. In going through it, I found the JF Keyboard-90 manual in English. I scanned it and sent to Rich Mellor (Rich, check your inbox). I'm hoping that Rich can find a place to host it. I scanned at 300 DPI. Total size of the manual is 4 Meg.
I got this keyboard interface back just after it came out. I really worked great. Once I had it configured with the dip switches, it worked perfectly. The only issue was that it uses the DOS reboot (CTRL-ALT-DEL) as a reset for the QL. Well, when using some editors, to delete a line is CTRL-ALT-Left Arrow, which is might close, finger wise, to CTRL-ALT-DEL. Many times I've spent 20 minutes editing some code and then when trying to delete a line, reset the QL, losing my changes.
