Hi.

I'm getting rid of some old ICs, like MC68008 PLCC52 12MHz, 512K SRAM, 128K EEPROM, CPLDs etc. These are ideal for making a modern up to date 12MHz Sinclair QL.

I've already popped one on ebay, but I should have enough components to make about 10 kits or so. I don't expect to get a lot for them so I've started bidding at 99p. I only popped them on ebay as it seems a shame to bin them.

You should be able to make a complete system with about a dozen or so ICs,

MX68008FN12 CPU
K6T4008-55 55ns SRAM
W27C512 45ns EEPROM
EPM7128 PLCC84 CPLD
EPM7096 PLCC68 CPLD
8051 Micro-controller
ATF1502 PLCC44 CPLD
MAX232 RS232 driver
GAL22V10
V9958 VDP video processors
512K FLASH memory PLCC32
DIP/PLCC sockets
12MHz Crystal, 21.4772 MHz crystals
DB9,DB25, SCART, DC DB15 PS2 keyboard/Mouse connectors etc

I believe it's possible to get a professional double sided PCB made for about £15-£20 in the UK . So theoretically, from your own PCB design, it should be possible to make a 'Modern' 68008 system for less than fifty quid !
