Hi everyone,
If replacing the multiplexer chip, with of these recreated ones, do I still need to perform the mandatory mod of the two resistors and wire to pin 1 of the adjacent chip?
Thanks,
Mark

Re: Multiplexer chip
That's a replacement for the ZX8401 isn't it (and other part names), for the late 48k issue 6 Spectrums and the early Spectrum 128k versions?
Pretty sure it won't work in a QL, despite some incorrect info online.

Oh, ok, thanks!
eBay listing has it as compatible with QL?

Re: Multiplexer chip
No, that will definitely not work in the QL. Seems to be a misunderstanding on the seller's side. The QL chip is ZX8301, the Spectrum ZX8401. (Small number difference, but a big one in function)
