I don't know about the German models but the US ones only have monochrome composite out on the RGB DIN socket. Note that both US and German models also use DB-9 serial and joystick connector.
Pin 1 on the RGB socket gives a 5 volt signal and no composite color out. Now it's easy enough to fix since you can grab the color composite right form the RF modulator. I did a mod that put a switch on it and sends it out pin 3 so I can have one cable for color and monochrome composite using the same cable and just switch it (when power is off). I've not put a capacitor on it like the Spectrum mod but my color signal is quite clean, stable and clear (the green shimmers a bit).

for my German QL this is correct. If you want to have the "color" composite you have to grab it internally.
