68008 dev board

Post by Sparrowhawk »

Chap from whom i bought a CP/M Z80 based computer on a board (superb build quality) has made something that I think the tinkerers on these forums might enjoy reading about:

I wasn't sure whether to post this in Hardware or OT as not strictly QL related, so mods feel free to move this post if needed.

What do people expect from a dev board?

Not sure what you mean Dave - the guy has 17 very interesting (well to me anyway) projects on hackaday - but this one isn't there yet - guess it's either too early days or he isn't intending to develop it beyond breadboard. Still - he got EHBasic working on it, so good result for a rat's nest computer!

I do like looking through the old retrobrew site to see what people are up to on there. Wealth of knowledge there and fun things to look at.

I see you found his website - but to save others from having to click through Twitter to get to it, here it is: https://hackaday.io/Just4Fun

You are correct that the 68008 project does not have its own page yet, hopefully it will come along soon enough.
