In UK style QLs, CTL1 corresponds to cursor keys plus spacebar

This is the exact manual entry I remember from 35 years ago ;)

Unhelpfully, my US QLs with US supplied manuals, they still have the UK pinouts.

I want to add some diode protection to the sockets, since they're male DP9s and the pins can be touched by wandering fingers. The 8049 has not got the best static protection.

So, that leaves me with just some parts of serial, microdrives and QLNET left to sort out. On the QLNET, the symbols don't match the expected pinout of what I received, so I need to just probe it out and make sure it terminates with the 330Ω resistor when removed, and connects properly when the cable is inserted.

Also, still looking for a high density mezzanine connector for internal expansion, for this and going into future designs so they have a common internal expansion system that isn't bulky. Ideally, I'd like 100+ contacts on a 1mm or larger grid (I guess I could go to 0.8mm) ideally something that's mechanically rigid enough to hold a small to medium sized internal board. DIN41612 connectors are just too bulky.
