Issue 6 board updates

Back in about March 2014, someone sent me revised circuit diagrams for issue 5 and 6 QL circuit boards, which are on my website at http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs/hardware/index.html (scroll down to “QL Circuit Diagram”). Unfortunately (great embarrassment), I didn’t keep a note of the author’s name and Marcel has asked me to pass on some important further updates to the author.

Anybody prepared to “own up” who it was?

(Marcel says whoever it was is welcome to contact him direct if preferred).

Was I :)

I'll need to brush up on Xcircuit to do the mods. My blank issue 6 PCB also confirms ZX8302 data bus same as CPU.

Please let me know any other requested changes.

BTW Xcircuit raw data file is Postscript (attached)

Thanks David, Marcel, Derek and a few others who got in touch about this.

Marcel has sent me an update for my website which I'll upload as soon as I get time.

It's always great when the QL community responds like this for the benefit of all of us!

I made several Issue 6 PCB clones.
For historical preservation.
I think not really to make the assembly this board, because of very rare original parts, such as the special serial, power, net connectors.

Possible, I need to make some replacement of this rare parts ?

Awesome job. Incredible. You could reproduce Auroras with some extra work put in by Nasta, the creator 8-)

Wow! Those boards look so good, it's making me want to get my soldering iron out and build one!

Who makes your boards?

Cheers,
Norm.

Thank you.

Yes, Aurora - interesting project.
But I have no Aurora board or documents.
