Now everything works correctly with Minerva too.
Thanks for testing! Looks like 1.07 will be the release version. There are still the problems with the MiST, but I expect them to be rather MiST related. MiSTer apparently works fine.

Cheers, Marcel

Hi Urs, good news!

I was never able to run the new .win QL-SD driver with MiST. Do you have a QL/E package version (with the corresponding core.rbf and ql.rom + new .win ql-sd driver) ready to work with MiST available for download?

Cheers.

You need a special version of the ROM https://www.kilgus.net/ql/ql-sd/

Hi Marcel.

I have downloaded that special rom version for MiST, I have renamed the file "Minerva_1.98_io_fix_qlsd107_MiST.bin" as "ql.rom" and I have put it in the SD root directory. The problem is my MiST system only recognizes 128KB of memory with that ROM (the .win driver work fine).

Maybe my problem is not related with your rom version because in the Urs MiST system everything works fine. I have a MiST clone, possibly that's the problem, I do not know.

Greetings.

PD:
Great!! There is already on your website the new QL-SD v2 User Manual!!

the amount of memory your MiST emulates does not depend on the ROM - It's set in the core's config menu (F12).

Thanks Marcel, thanks Tobias.

Problem solved (everything has been my mistake).

Effectively, the new Marcel-Wolfgang QL-SD 1.07 driver works fine in MiST. Now, it is great to share the same .WIN containers with BBQL, MiST, Q68, QPC2, QemuiLator, SMSQmulator, ...

Greetings!!

Basically the official .WIN file of QL/E is fine for all systems including BBQL with QL-SD and MiST (emulating QL-SD hardware). But be careful with RAM. 128KB won't work with QL/E (remember E stand for Environment and Extended). 896KB RAM (like Trump Card) is fine, all above is perfect. 640KB RAM will work, but you need to configure QL/E using QLECFG to only load a minimal set of software (e.g. only QPAC 2, not all the other desktops). And I've learnt during my re-tests that you better mod the boot program slightly if you want to use QL/E with 640KB RAM on the MiST. Delete lines 11480 (DBAS) and 11500 (PHGTK). Have fun with QL/E on the MiST or any other system!

Sensei Marcel,
I tried also the MiST version and it works (apparently) perfectly, how you did the MiST version ? It is a simple union of Minerva rom and the driver or what else ? Was you able to test it directly with the mist ?
What is for the version with the 'g' in the name ? (sorry if was specified elsewhere, I am always in a hurry :D )
