Sounds like a superb old find! Did the flicker of your burning torch light up the QL treasures as you ventured into the unknown?

I have the documentation of the A/D_1 interface. It is in German however. I can scan it for you if you want.

@vanpeebles
It did, it was definately a treasure find!
@Francois
Yes please as I have no documentation with this currently, it would be nice to know how
the scanner head works and is installed!

Russ

Re: QL A/D_1 - Scanner
Hi, I was afraid that I only had the documentation for the A/D_1 interface but after a more careful examination I also find the QL Scanner doc. I will try to scan everything this week.
On your side, can you check if you have A/D_1 files on one of your discs. They are called ad_boot, ad_cod, ad_rom and ad_asm; the most important one being ad_cod.
Thank you in advance.

Re: QL A/D_1 - Scanner
Francois,
Not sure if you are still looking here but I now have V2.21 of the software
If you still have the manual then maybe we can sort it out.
Thanks

There is now English manual and software for the JFC QL-scanner on my website http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/docs/manuals/index.html - the software is v2.00 IIRC.
If you have later software please can you send a copy to Rich or myself for preservation.
Also, if you have software and manuals for the A/D interface, what I have doesn't seem to include it, I would be very grateful to get copies of those for preservation too.

I have the v2.21 software (thanks Bagpuss) and sent it to Francois and two more QL users !!
Someone must be able to find Jurgen Falkenberg - there's a task for our German members - I wonder if the designs are still around?

Thank you everyone involved !!
I will look at the manual I have (in german) and if it is more complete than the English version, I will scan it over the weekend and send it to whoever wants it.
