Not a suggestion on how to spend the holiday, but a question about QemuLator use on Linux with the Wine emulator.
I was planning to switch from Fedora to CentOS, but I naturally did a test first to make sure that QemuLator would be OK. Shock, horror! It ran with the basic display (fine if you have a magnifying glass handy) but crashed on trying to get the full screen. Over the last couple of weeks I've been testing versions of Wine with QemuLator 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5. My results are
1.1.7 OK with Fedora and Salix
1.2.3 failed with Salix and CentOS
1.3.7 failed with Salix and CentOS
1.3.12 OK with Fedora, but failed with Salix (odd; did I do something wrong?)
1.3.33 OK with Fedora, but failed with PUIAS (ditto)
Does anyone else have any reliable (or even unreliable) versions of Wine to report on? I assume there are other people out there doing this!
