Reset instruction in QPC2

Postby Martin_Head » Mon Feb 27, 2017 10:26 am

I am trying to get an old QL machine code program to run in QPC2.

When the program quits. It uses the 'reset' instruction, to reset the QL (at least that's what I assume it does). However in QPC2, processing just continues after the reset instruction.

I realise that QPC2 may be doing exactly what the reset instruction is supposed to do, but can anyone suggest a 2 byte instruction that will, if not reset QPC2, at least stop it in it's tracks.

I have thought about the 'stop' instruction, but it requires some immediate data, so it is longer than 2 bytes.
