I've used the QLWiki a couple of times in the last week. It is a critically valuable reference tool and knowledgebase.

Thank you for keeping it updated.

Cheers Dave.

One of the problems of the old Wiki software was the fact that nothing, it appears, had ever been updated since 2007. (If I remember correctly.)

That's not to say anyone here was negligent, just the author didn't release any patches etc. Anyway, it was fun converting it to Dokuwiki and getting it all set up. But I had help from a few people around here - it wasn't all my own work.

Rich wrote the vast majority of the data in the first place, and I agree, it's a huge vat of knowledge.

Cheers,
Norm.

Morning All,

the QL Wiki was recently updated (after testing!) to the latest "Hogfather" version of Dokuwiki with no problems. Well, no problems until your cache expired that is. The template in use, "bootstrap3" then stopped working in respect of all the buttons along the top. There is a fix, which is to install the current development template which poses a slight problem in that doing so required access to admin tools, which is obtained from a button on the currently non-working toolbar! Catch-22?

Anyway, as on 09:45 this morning, I've fixed the template. If you see anything funny, try F5 in your browser to refresh. If that still looks weird, CTRL-F5 definitely fixed it for me in Chrome.

Now all I need to do is do the same fix on http://qdosmsq.dunbar-it.co.uk as well.

EDIT: CTRL-F5 failed to fix it on my own Wiki, so in Chrome:

EITHER:

Code: Select all

Press CTRL-SHIFT-DEL
OR:

Code: Select all

Go to "chrome://settings/"
Scroll down to "Privacy and security"
Click on "Privacy and security"
THEN:

Code: Select all

Uncheck everything except "Cached images and files".
Click the "Clear Data" button.
Refresh the Wiki page again.

Cheers,
Norm.
