Just browsing the eBuyer website, they have a HP 255 G6 Laptop 3KX70ES laptop on offer today for just £190. It comes without Windoze, just FreeDOS.
Just wondering if this might be a useful cheap buy for someone who'd just like to slap a basic DOS-based QL emulator such as QPC1 on it to use as a portable QL? (Don't know how compatible FreeDOS would be with QL emulators of course).

Re: Laptop offer
Hi Dilwyn,
Look a nice laptop for the price.
I have copies of Windows 7 that can be used on the Laptop or I would install Linux Mint, which will run all QL emulators with WINE.
QPC1 can be run with DOSBOX on either Windows or Linux.
Linux is a more secure operating system with no licencing problems.
