I find it mildly irksome that even though I check the "keep me logged in" box, I get reliably logged out at least every week or two. Since nothing in this site constitutes "secure info" and many browsers track changes and can alert us when content has changed so we don't visit unnecessarily, it might be good to alter the setting that forces people to re-login to a longer period. It's not eBay, it's a financial site

I'll have a look into this and see what options the forum software has.

Moved from the sales feedback I had a quick look and persistant logins are enabled with the time out disabled, which suggests it's more like a browser cookie issue?

Weird... I still have the cookies when it happens, on both Safari and Firefox.
