Does that web service give you freedom to just post your own HTML? Though I like freeWHA it still has a policy of removing pages that don't get traffic over a 1 to 3 month period and with the kind of page I have, I could see such a stretch. It's better than InifinityFree but I'd rather find something where I know it won't disappear. But I don't like managed sites and I don't think the add that your service provides is very obtrusive.

Sorry, readthedocs is a documentation site. You create pages in Sphinx format, or a form of Markdown on github or similar. Any time you push a change to github, the docs are rebuilt in html, pdf and epub (I think) for ereaders.

It's for documentation as opposed to a web page.
