Another topic…
Hi QLers, I think we need another topic. Recently most discussions on ql-users and qlforum were about Rich’s Software Preservation Project and Copyright. Even I have a clear opinion on all that I will not write it down here for two major reasons: 1. English is not my native language and I feel a bit...

Show us your rig!
Hi QLers, finally summer has arrived, hot summertime reached Switzerland. Before leaving for my summer vacation with my family I have to upgrade all designated PCs to Windows 10 before the free upgrade period ends. Today was the time to upgrade the Gamer PC of my son. Quite a beast. And fast like he...

Re: UQLX with BDI / QL-SD support
Hi QLers, the only three Linux machines I own are my NAS, a SubNotebook and my Raspberry Pi. While the NAS has its job to do, the SubNotebook gets dust on a shelf, the Raspi gets at least fired up whenever I want to test a new version of QL/E. At work the situation is completely different, at least ...

Now I'm a Trump Card!
Had to do some posts lately to get rid of my overheated PSU forum level.

Re: ProFortran
All runs fine here. Without going into details, try the thingy out of THE DISTRIBUTION where everything has been pre-configured and tested. The Prospero suite is in the folder \xcl\prs\, the pre-configured QemuLator in the folder \xcl\. Just start QemuLator with the supplied prs-Prospero_Pascal_Fort...

Re: QL is 30 The distribution disk - Burning
I had to carefully hand-select what additions and updates to be included or omitted and also to seek for duplicates to save space. As a direct result the unZIPped content (folder THE_DISTRIBUTION of THE_DISTRIBUTION.ZIP) of the latest version 3.04 fit on a physical DVD. At least when burned on my PC...

Re: THE_DISTRIBUTION_qle
QCP which came with QDT can easily be configured using MENUCONFIG. ex menuconfig_en;win1_app_QDT_BIN_qcp_obj Set the directory to basecolours_inf to app_QDT_BIN_ Save it and after that start QCP in the GRAPHICS folder of QDT and it works. See attached screenshot. QCOCO is not (yet) part of QL/E. I h...

Re: THE DISTRIBUTION - Word is out!
Update package (248 MB ZIP file) is available now. If you have previously downloaded an earlier version of THE DISTRIBUTION then this may be a path for you. The update procedure by a standard ZIP file is easy, works on all platforms and is good enough for most people (especially novices). It has one...
