Re: New video output system
Hi Dave, This sounds great, the existing QL RGB is OK, but your new hardware sounds even better. Personally, I do not use Microdrives, TV Modulator and have removed them. With the replacement of the power regulator and heat sink with a better solution the QL runs cooler with no EMI. In future hardwa...

Re: QDOS For Amiga
Hi, There is a Vampire 2 for the Amiga A500, which plugs into the 68000 CPU socket, from what I can gather, this also works on the Atari STF(M). If this works with Atari software then the hardware QL emulator will also take advantage of the Vampire 2, and it runs SMSQ/E. I will do some investigation...

Re: QDOS For Amiga
Hi, I have an Amiga A600 which I have fitted a Vampire 2. The Amiga lives on the floor under a chair at present, too busy to play with it. I will get the Amiga out over the weekend and try out the Amiga QL Emulators to see if it runs on the Vampire 2. Simon Goodwin, had it running on the A4000 withc...

Re: Q68 New users and general usage thread
Hi, What is your definition of the WIN_DRIVE and QUB_DRIVE and QUB_DRIVE. They must have exisiting WIN and QUB container located on the SD Card in either a FAT16 or FAT32 partition. I will look into the changing of the video resolution, but it sounds like the DISP_SIZE command is changing the resolu...

Re: Testing Tetroid backplane and GC
Hi, Nice video, your setup is nearly like mine, I use Qascade to launch all GUI programmes and the main purpose of my setup is programming or trying to programme... I have some QIMI interfaces that need some repair, which I will repair and make available, also the Aurora has a builtin QIMI interface...

Hi,
If we are to move forward, then how about impossible solution of using USB keyboards. I say impossible, as there is no solution available.
There is PS/2 to USB converters, which only on some USB keyboard that support PS/2 data/clock signals ( Not sure about).

Re: Hating on my Q68...
Hi Dave, I do not use distributions like QL/E and Black Phoenix. They are both excellent examples of QL environments. I merely supplied a choice of performated software package. If the supplied distributions are not required, then delete them and write a personal boot file. The Q68 manuals were emai...
